New Computerized Cutting Table

Although COVID-19 makes our life a bit more complicated, the Virginia Tech packaging program is marching forward. We just installed a brand new ESKO Kongsberg X Edge computerized cutting table that we can use to cut paperboard, corrugated and foam with increased accuracy. We are looking forward to use it in our packaging classes to create much more professional package prototypes. We are also expanding our curriculum with two additional packaging design classes this year covering a range of topics from sketching to advanced packaging design using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Watch out world because Virginia Tech packaging designers are coming.
