Continuing Education Short Courses & Webinars
CPULD is pleased to offer educational programs that specialize in training the employees of our target industries. Most of our courses last 2-3 full days and focus on how to save money and increase the safety through better pallet, packaging, and unit load design.
These courses are taught by educational professionals with close ties to the industry and by industry professionals themselves. Most courses are held on the beautiful Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg and include tours of our state of the art laboratories, which are here on-site.

This course is being held in partnership with NWPCA. This course is a follow-up to Pallet Design & Performance. Once you have attended the beginner pallet course, please consider signing up for Advanced Pallet Design! Virtual attendance is available.
Crate Design and Performance
April 15th-17th, 2025
This 2.5 day course is being held in Blacksburg, VA, mostly at the Brooks Forest Products Center, just outside of the Virginia Tech campus. Military-related packaging specialists can attend for a discounted rate!

April 29th-May 1st, 2025
This course is being held in partnership with NWPCA. This 2.5 day class is being held in Blacksburg, VA, mostly at the Brooks Forest Products Center Building, just outside of the Virginia Tech campus. Virtual attendance is available.
