Recent Undergraduate Research Projects

CPULD works with leading packaging companies to offer small-scale undergraduate research projects that are designed to provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to dip their toes into research.

These projects often provide financial support, and some students can receive course credits through the SPDI program and/or SBIO 4994, the Undergraduate Research class.

Collegiate Assistant Professor Eduardo Molina and a group of his undergraduate students are investigating the hazards that grocery packages experience during last-mile delivery to customers by designing and constructing instrumented packages and sending them through the supply chain.
