In her role as Program Specialist for the Department of Sustainable Biomaterials, Angie supports the secretarial needs of faculty and department research centers.  Since 2005, she has supported the Center for Packaging and Unit Load Design by assisting Center faculty, staff, and students with payroll, purchasing, and invoicing.

A native of Blacksburg, Virginia, Angie has worked at Virginia Tech since 1985, and has been the Program Specialist in Sustainable Biomaterials since May of 1986.  She resides in Christiansburg with her husband Jim.  They have traveled extensively in the United States including visits to Alaska.  In her spare time, Angie enjoys gardening, reading, crafts, and spending time with her husband and two grown sons.
